Initial Project Review & Quote

Timeline: 1–3 business days

What You Provide:
  • 3D CAD files (STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, etc.)
  • Part specifications and requirements
  • Expected annual volume
  • Material preferences
  • Quality and tolerance requirements
  • Known tooling configuration requirements (cavitation, steel, gating, etc)
What We Deliver:
  • Detailed Quote
  • Initial feasibility assessment
  • Lead time projection
  • Identification of potential manufacturing challenges

DFM Analysis & Tool Design

Timeline: 1-2 weeks

What You Provide:
  • PO and down payment
  • Feedback on preliminary recommendations
  • Part design updates based on DFM report
  • Feedback on tool design and press requirements
What We Deliver:
  • Comprehensive DFM report with recommendations and part design feedback
  • Detailed tool design CAD model (3D/2D drawings as needed)
  • Moldflow simulation recommendations (as quoted)
  • Video conference call(s) to review tool design in depth.

Tool Build & Oversight

Timeline: 6-12 weeks (depends on complexity)

What You Provide:
  • Tool design approval
  • Special material requirements for sampling
  • Any special inspection requirements
What We Deliver:
  • Weekly progress updates with photos
  • Quality control inspections at key milestones
  • Real-time issue resolution
  • Engineering change order management
  • Expected T0 sample date

Sampling & Qualification

Timeline: 2-4 weeks

What You Provide:
  • Next payment on T0 sample completion
  • Feedback on samples
  • Internal inspection results and data (if applicable)
  • Part approval criteria
  • Inspection requirements (if any)
  • Sample approval sign-off
What We Deliver:
  • TO (First Shot): Fit and form review, and dimensional verification
  • T1 (Engineering Sample): As needed for adjustments from T0 samples
  • T2 (Production Sample): Full qualification run with final surface finish applied.
  • Dimensional inspection reports
  • Parts shipped to you for approval
  • Tool modifications if needed (design changes to be quoted separately)

Tool Transfer to USA

Timeline: 6-8 weeks for sea shipping + delivery (air freight available at extra cost)

What You Provide:
  • Final payment
  • Delivery address
  • Any specific freight preferences
What We Deliver:
  • Freight forwarding, customs clearance, and tracking
  • Tool arrival notifications
  • Comprehensive tool documentation
  • Post-delivery support, spare/replacement parts

Progressive sampling and qualification-parts are tested and shipped to you for approval.

Your Final Approval

Tool doesn’t ship until you’ve approved T2 production samples.
